Expense Management with Asta Timesheet
Good expense management enables you to improve your profitability. With Asta Timesheet, our fully integrated web-based timesheet system, you can easily and accurately manage your expenses.
With Asta Timesheet you can clearly see exactly what is being spent, by whom, and on which projects, enabling you to assess profitability accurately. Expenses can be recorded against projects if required, to ensure project costs are accurate.
Asta Timesheet can be integrated with many different billing systems, allowing automatic and timely invoice generation if expenses are to be charged back to clients.
There are six steps to Asta Timesheet's expense management process:
1. Expense claims for both project and non-project work are entered within the expenses section of Asta Timesheet.
2. Once submitted, expense claims cannot be altered by the claimant.
3. The claim can then be approved, rejected or altered by either the resource manager or project manager.
4. Once approved, the expense claim is passed to the finance department for final approval or rejection.
5. If rejected the claim is automatically flagged to the claimant.
6. If approved the expenses are then recorded against the relevant task in the relevant project.
